"Village life in a great City"
Stayed 6 days in De Waterkant with my grown family of 4. This is a great location, very convenient for most attractions and roads. There are numerous beautiful shops, boutiques, cafe's restaurants etc. This area, with its colourful, interesting architecture and steep, narrow streets has a very special feel.
"Quirky suburb with a large variety of niche restaurants"
De Waterkant village is a must-see for a traveller visiting Cape Town. This area is best seen on foot - take a stroll along the painted houses or pop into a cafe' for a delightful meal. There is a vast array of coffee shops each offering their own unique blends. There are also many restaurants that focus on healthy eating for vegans and veggies.

"Excellent stay in the heart of Cape Town"
We stayed at one of the apartments offered by De Waterkant Village for nearly one week. We were greeted with a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom apartment with amazing views of Cape Town. We quite literally felt we had won the lottery!
